Double Bass Students

I have taught all levels of double bass students: beginner, intermediate, advanced, and adult students. I like to take a unique approach to every student and I like to make sure each student has a good foundation of technique and that we also work on pieces that are enjoyable to them.

Your Instructor

Bert Witzel has been performing and teaching professionally for 20 years. He has honed his teaching methods to provide top-notch instruction on how to play the double bass to all ages and levels.

Bert lives in Indianapolis and works full-time with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. He also freelances in the Indianapolis area, performing and recording and coaches and teaches the bass students at Brownsburg High School.
